
Surat: In a tragic incident, a homoeopathic doctor posted at Kiran Hospital allegedly committed suicide after injecting himself with an overdose of anaesthesia in a hotel room in the Godadara area of Surat.
A suicide note written on three pages of his diary was recovered by the police, which contained different words. On one page, the doctor had written his wife’s name, and on the second page, he wrote the word ‘Justice’. While on the third page, there was a drawing of a child with his wife written next to it.
Following the recovery of the notes, the police suspect that the doctor took this extreme step due to domestic disputes. However, an investigation is underway to confirm the reason behind his death.

The incident took place on November 7, 2025, when the doctor went to a Hotel Nest located on the third floor of Madhav Shopping Centre in the Godadara area. He booked a room for himself and stayed overnight in the room. The next day, when he was supposed to clock-out, he did not leave his room. After time passed, the hotel management went to check on himself. However, the door was locked from inside and the doctor did not respond to their knockings.
Shortly, the hotel staff became suspicious and alerted the police. Subsequently, the police rushed to the hotel and attempted to open the door. When the police opened the door, the doctor was found dead. Beside him, an injection and a medicine bottle were found.
Following this, the police sent his body to SMIMER Hospital for a post-mortem and which was conducted.
As per Bhaskar news report, the doctor got married two years ago and was living in Maha Khodiyar Nagar Residency in Deladvaa, located in Surat’s Dindoli area. His wife has been living in Ahmedabad for a year. They had no children.
An investigation has been launched into the matter.
