The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) approved a total of 7619 postgraduate medical seats during the academic year 2025-2026.

The details regarding the seats for postgraduate courses in medical colleges and institutes for the academic year 2025-2026 were shared by NMC MARB in a public notice dated 17.12.2025.

In the notice, MARB President Dr. M K Ramesh mentioned, “The number of seats available as on 08.12.2025 in various Post-Graduate (Broad Speciality) courses in Medical Colleges/Institutions after the inclusion of seats granted on or before 8.12.2025 under the purview of the National Medical Commission (NMC) for the Academic Year 2025-26 is attached for the information of all stakeholders.”
