NMC clarifies where private medical colleges must submit E-bank guarantee

New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a public notice outlining the bank and beneficiary details for submission of the Electronic Bank Guarantee (e-BG) by private medical colleges, following an earlier directive that made its submission mandatory after the issuance of the Letter of Permission (LoP).

In its notice dated December 17, 2025, the NMC’s Accounts Division referred to the Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) public notice issued on December 4, 2025, which had already directed private medical colleges to submit an electronic bank guarantee to the Commission.

The latest communication, the NMC clarified, is intended to provide ready reference details required for issuing the e-BG in favour of the National Medical Commission.

The notice specifies the official beneficiary particulars of the NMC, including its address, PAN, and contact details, along with the designated bank account maintained with Canara Bank in Dwarka, New Delhi. Colleges have been asked to strictly follow these particulars while arranging electronic bank guarantees to avoid procedural delays or errors.

The Commission further stated that the same details shall be followed for all future submissions of e-BGs to the NMC. The public notice has been circulated to principals and deans of all medical colleges under the NMC and uploaded on the Commission’s website for wider dissemination
