avoidable diseases.
He emphasised that “any
deviation from normal values should serve as an early warning”, and reasserted
the importance of keeping basic health monitoring tools such as weighing scale,
measuring tape, a full-length mirror, thermometer, blood pressure monitor,
glucometer, and pulse oximeter in every household, reports Garhwal Post.
Dr Sanjay urged the
launch of a nationwide Health Screening Awareness Campaign, stating,
“Prevention is better than cure.” He ended by connecting wellness to
nation-building and encouraged citizens to support Prime Minister Narendra
Modi’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’, emphasizing that a healthy and educated
population is crucial for India’s progress.
